Why it worked

Old stealth was permanent and truly invisible: with no Oracle's Elixir on the map, nothing in the game revealed her. Sword of the Occult added five attack damage per kill and only dropped if she died, which she did not. The counterplay was a consumable that one person had to buy and then keep.
