Why it worked

Undying Rage held him alive for five whole seconds on a short cooldown, and his fury bar fed straight into critical strike chance. Low on health he sat near 100 % crit for nothing, so the Tryndamere who was losing was the one to fear. A crit reset Spinning Slash, which took kiting off the table too.
