Why it worked

Her attack range climbed with every level until, at 18, she outranged the entire game without spending gold on it. A kill or an assist reset Rocket Jump, turning a won teamfight into a free exit from the middle of five enemies. Explosive Shot made her the one marksman a siege could not simply be healed through.
